LEXINGTON, S.C. – Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon is pleased to announce the following promotions and transfers.
Sandy Black has been promoted to sergeant in Evidence. Black, a resident of Cayce, previously served as investigator in Major Crimes. She was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 1997.
Nick Burt has been promoted to sergeant in Major Crimes. Burt, a resident of Gilbert, previously served as an investigator. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2010.
Ken Humphery has been promoted to registry compliance clerk in the Sex Offender Registry Division. Humphery, a resident of Ridge Spring, previously served the division in a part-time role. He joined LCSD in 2016.
Jonathan Brock has transferred to investigator in Major Crimes. Brock, a resident of Gaston, previously served as an investigator. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2012.
Nick McMillin has transferred to investigator. McMillin, a resident of Lexington, previously served as a master deputy in North Region. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2014.
James Westbury has transferred to investigator in Major Crimes. Westbury, a resident of Lexington, previously served as a master deputy in North Region. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2014.
Tim Franklin has transferred to investigator in Major Crimes. Franklin, a resident of Batesburg, previously served as a master deputy in South Region. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2012.
John Donnelly has been promoted to crime scene investigator. Donnelly, a resident of Newberry, previously served as a deputy in North Region. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2018.
Josh Bice has been promoted to investigator in Major Crimes. Bice, a resident of Irmo, previously served as a deputy in North Region. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2017.
Derek Howell has been promoted to investigator in Major Crimes. Howell, a resident of Lexington, previously served as a deputy in South Region. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2018.
Cameron Cain has been promoted to master deputy in patrol. Cain, a resident of Little Mountain, previously served as a deputy in South Region. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2016.
Art Seboe has been promoted to master deputy in patrol. Seboe, a resident of Lexington, previously served as a field training officer. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2017.
Tyler Watford has been promoted to master deputy in patrol. Watford, a resident of Leesville, previously served as a deputy in South Region. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2015.
Alania Plyler-Spohn has been promoted to field training officer. Plyler-Spohn, a resident of Irmo, previously served as a deputy in North Region. She was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2018.
Mathew Vincent has transferred to code enforcement officer. Vincent, a resident of Lexington, previously served as a school resource officer. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2014.
Laney Isgett has been promoted to school resource officer. Isgett, a resident of West Columbia, previously served as a deputy in South Region. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2018.
Harry Stevenson has transferred to Warrant Division. Stevenson, a resident of Lexington, previously served as deputy in West Region. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2018.
Jeffrey Stutts has transferred to Warrant Division. Stutts, a resident of Lexington, previously served as a patrol deputy. He was appointed to serve as a deputy sheriff in 2016.
