LEXINGTON, S.C. – Lexington County Sherriff Jay Koon is pleased to announce the following promotions and one transfer.
Keith Browning has been promoted to crime scene investigator. Browning previously worked as a patrol deputy. He has served the county since 2018.
Shelley Collins has been promoted to crime scene investigator. Collins previously worked as a school resource officer. She has served the county since 2019.
James Forgione has been promoted to victim advocate. Forgione previously worked as a resident deputy. He has served the county since 2016.
Carleisha Gilliam has been promoted to major crimes investigator. Gilliam previously worked as a patrol deputy. She has served the county since 2019.
Willie Harris has been promoted to master deputy in the Patrol Division. Harris previously worked as a field training officer. He has served the county since 2017.
Cheryl Iliff has been promoted to field training officer in the detention center. Iliff previously worked as a correctional officer. She has served the county since 2020.
Matt Kyzer has been promoted to major crimes investigator. Kyzer previously worked as a traffic deputy. He has served the county since 2012.
Wendy Merritt has been promoted to field training officer in the detention center. Merritt previously worked as a correctional officer. She has served the county since 2018.
John Mobley has been promoted to sergeant in the Warrant Division. Mobley previously worked as master deputy in the Warrant Division. He has served the county since 2013.
Howard Smith has been promoted to narcotics investigator. Smith previously worked as a field training officer. He has served the county since 2016.
Jacob Smith has been promoted to master deputy in the Patrol Division. Smith previously worked as a field training officer. He has served the county since 2018.
Jeffrey Stutts has been promoted to master deputy in the Warrant Division. Stutts previously worked as a warrant deputy. He has served the county since 2016.
Cody Weyandt has transferred to narcotics investigator. Weyandt previously served as a crime scene investigator. He has served the county since 2017.
Tim Wilke has been promoted to master deputy in the Warrant Division. Wilke previously worked as a warrant deputy. He has served the county since 2017.
