LEXINGTON, S.C. – The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department’s 287(g) program, in conjunction with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, will conduct its 2023 annual Steering Committee meeting March 14.
The 287(g) program allows state and local law enforcement to enter into a partnership with ICE in order to receive delegated authority for immigration enforcement within their jurisdictions.
This meeting will be conducted virtually and is open to the public.
Those who wish to attend should contact the 287(g) Program Manager, Christine A. Dablewski, at Christine.A.Dablewski@ice.dhs.gov no later than Feb. 28 to receive an invitation to the meeting.
