A West Columbia man faces multiple charges in connection to four armed robberies at the same convenience store.
Darryl Stephon Walker, 26, was armed with a pistol when he robbed the Scotchman in the 2900 block of Sunset Boulevard four times between October 2015 and May 2016, according to arrest warrants.
“Walker is also charged with kidnapping a total of five store employees during the four robberies,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “We’ve also charged him with four counts of possessing a weapon during a violent crime.”
Surveillance video of the four robberies shows a person that matches Walker’s physical identifiers, according to arrest warrants.
Walker is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center. His bond has been set at $270,000.
Koon said the investigation into the robberies is still open and detectives continue to gather information on more potential charges.
