Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 100 block of South Hampton Road. A male victim died on the way to the hospital Tuesday evening.
Crime scene investigators processed the scene and gathered potential evidence. Detectives responded to the scene and interviewed witnesses.
Based on our investigation, the shooting wasn’t random. It appears to be an isolated incident. The victim and the shooter knew each other on some level.
