Donald Wade Hagood, 52, of Gaston has been charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor under 11 years of age.
Lexington County Sheriff’s Department investigators arrested Hagood on Tuesday. He’s being held in the Lexington County Detention Center while he awaits a bond hearing.
According to South Carolina law, Hagood, if convicted, must be imprisoned for a mandatory minimum of 25 years, no part of which may be suspended or probation granted, or must be imprisoned for life.
