A Leesville man has been charged with one count of criminal sexual conduct with a minor – third degree.
According to arrest warrants, John Fleming Boineau, 33, committed a lewd act with a child under the age of 16 last December.
“This investigation has lasted more than three months and is ongoing,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “Our detectives have been gathering statements and conducting interviews since this was first reported to us. They arrested Boineau on Tuesday without incident.”
According to Koon, Boineau was released Thursday from the Lexington County Detention Center after posting a $10,000 personal recognizance bond.
