LEXINGTON, S.C. – Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon is pleased to announce the following promotions and transfers.
William Aiken has been promoted to senior deputy in traffic. Aiken previously worked as a patrol deputy. He has served the county since 2022.
Cheryl Iliff has been promoted to master deputy in detention. Iliff previously worked as a detention deputy. She has served the county since 2020.
Taylor McChesney has transferred to senior deputy in traffic. McChesney previously worked as a field training officer in patrol. He has served the county since 2019.
Joni Novak has been promoted to master deputy in detention. Novak previously worked as a detention deputy. She has served the county since 2020.
LaTanya Pough has been promoted to sergeant in detention. Pough previously worked as a master deputy in detention. She has served the county since 2015.
Steven Rinehart has been promoted to master deputy in Patrol. Rinehart previously worked as a patrol deputy. He has served the county since 2020.
David Shinn has been promoted to master deputy in detention. Shinn previously worked as a detention deputy. He has served the county since 2022.
Alania Spohn has been promoted to investigator in property crimes. Spohn previously worked as a master deputy in patrol. She has served the county since 2018.
Joseph Staley has been promoted to master deputy in patrol. Staley previously worked as a field training officer is patrol. He has served the county since 2018.
Joshua Vicari has been promoted to master deputy in patrol. Vicari previously worked as a resident deputy in Batesburg-Leesville. He has served the county since 2021.
Yvette Wiggins has been promoted to detention deputy. Wiggins previously worked as a front desk specialist. She has served the county since 2021.
