LEXINGTON, S.C. – Lexington County deputies arrested a Lexington man on multiple narcotics and weapons charges Tuesday.
Donny Morton Zimbro, 50, is charged with possession with the intent to distribute heroin, trafficking meth, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of Schedule IV narcotics with the intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a pistol, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to arrest warrants.
“Deputies were trying to find Zimbro to serve an outstanding arrest warrant,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “They found him at a home in the 300 block of Sandspur Road in Pelion.”
Deputies saw drugs and a gun in plain view as they arrested Zimbro, according to Koon.
“Investigators got a search warrant for the home and later found more drugs,” Koon said. “They also recovered items used to measure and package drugs for sale.”
Zimbro was arrested at the Sandspur Road home. He’s being held in the Lexington County Detention Center.
