Cooper Joseph Cole, 17, forcefully snatched then carried away a woman’s purse in the Publix parking lot on Highway 378 July 10, according to arrest warrants. Cole, a Gilbert resident, is charged with purse snatching, assault and battery, and criminal conspiracy.
Detectives said Cole made the woman fall to the ground during the incident but she was not seriously injured.
Cole is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center.
