Lexington County Sheriff’s Department detectives have charged a West Columbia man with attempted murder after a man was stabbed at a party earlier this month.
According to the arrest warrant, Alexander Christopher Eagans got into a scuffle Sept. 13 during a party at a residence in the 400 block of Bushberry Road in Pelion. The warrant also alleges Eagans stabbed the victim with a knife and fled the scene on foot.
Sheriff’s Department investigators arrested Eagans Sept. 21. He is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
