LEXINGTON, S.C. – Lexington County deputies have arrested a man accused of trying to kill two men at an apartment complex earlier this year.
Zedekiah Germaine Coleman, 35, is charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to arrest warrants.
“Through interviews with witnesses and victims, detectives have determined this case started with an argument at a Bush River Road apartment complex on January 14,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “Coleman allegedly stabbed two men in the upper body and then ran away from the apartment complex.”
The two men were transported to a hospital with what their medical teams described as serious, life-threatening injuries, according to Koon. Both men have since recovered.
“Coleman was later identified by victims and we obtained warrants for his arrest,” Koon said.
Deputies arrested Coleman Thursday night. He is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center.
