LEXINGTON, S.C. – A West Columbia woman is accused of shooting at her boyfriend during a fight.
Ashley Nicole Stroman, 24, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to arrest warrants.
“Detectives have determined Stroman fired multiple shots at the victim Thursday as he was trying to leave the home they share,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “Stroman pistol-whipped the man before she shot at him.”
The man was not hit by the gunfire, according to Koon.
“They went their separate ways after the shooting,” Koon said. “Deputies eventually located Stroman later in the day at a home on Edmund Highway and placed her under arrest.”
Stroman is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center.
